Martin was appointed as a Director of Good Energy Ltd in 1999. Martin was instrumental in creating Windelectric Ltd, the company which took the Delabole Wind Farm development project - the UK’s first commercial wind farm - from concept to completion. Windelectric Ltd was acquired by Good Energy Group in 2002 and Martin continues to direct all operations, maintenance and contract negotiations for the wind farm.
