Results of AGM and statement by the Chief Executive
Good Energy Group PLC, the PLUS quoted supplier of 100% renewable electricity, announces that all the ordinary and special resolutions proposed at the Annual General Meeting held on Friday 9 May were passed unanimously.
In addressing the meeting, Juliet Davenport, Group Chief Executive, commented on 2007, which had produced the Group's best financial results so far with a profit after tax of £233,534, and explained that there had been a strong start to 2008. Looking ahead, she indicated that the Group's intention is to build on the strength of the Good Energy brand, in-house expertise, capabilities and knowledge in order to establish a fully integrated "green utility" as the leading provider of low carbon energy products and services. She added that all these markets are set for strong growth, and the Group is now well positioned to take advantage of it.
