GOOD ENERGY'S JULIET DAVENPORT CROWNED PLUS MARKET'S CEO OF THE YEAR FOR THE SECOND YEAR RUNNING
Good Energy, the UK’s only dedicated 100% renewable electricity supplier, is pleased to announce that its Founder and Chief Executive, Juliet Davenport, was awarded PLUS CEO of the year, for the second year running at the PLUS+Awards 2010, held at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London on Wednesday. Juliet Davenport said: “On behalf of Good Energy and the team I am delighted to accept this award. Recognition from the PLUS market demonstrates that Good Energy is a leader in our sector. We have worked hard to grow our customer base and launch new initiatives over the last twelve months. As well as expanding both our electricity and gas businesses, we have successfully secured finance for the
repowering of our Delabole wind farm and construction has now begun to increase the wind farm's output by roughly two and a half times. Good Energy is committed to increasing the uptake of renewable energy consumption in the UK and we are proud to be working with over 26,000 households, and 1,300 independent generators. ” This is the second year running that Ms. Davenport has won this award which recognises exceptional achievement on the PLUS-quoted market.
