RESULT OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Juliet Davenport, CEO of Good Energy Group PLC started the meeting with an overview of the performance of Good Energy Group in 2008, and the prospects for 2009. "2008 was a demanding year. We had to deal with some big external issues including the volatile energy markets and the economic downturn. At the same time we were bringing our new concepts for products to market in the shape of Good Energy Gas and Good Energy Shop. We are now looking forward to this work bearing fruit in 2009 with the re-powering of the Delabole Wind Farm; the continued growth of Good Energy's 100% electricity supply business; growing the Good Energy Gas customer base and by increasing traffic to Good Energy Shop. With our new augmented team we're up for the challenge." The business of the meeting then was lead by John Sellers, Chairman of Good Energy Group PLC. The key resolution of the day was the Director's power to allot securities and disapplication of pre-emption rights, which allows Good Energy to allot equity securities up to an aggregate nominal value of £250,000. John Sellers the Chairman of Good Energy Group PLC said "This year shareholders will know that we are working on delivering the re-power of Delabole, and that we will need to raise some additional equity to be able to complete this. Therefore we are likely to exercise these pre-emption rights as part of the process." All the resolutions were duly passed.
