Good Energy, the UK's only dedicated 100% renewable electricity supplier, is delighted to announce it has won the 2009 West of England Business of the Year Award (for businesses with a turnover of less than £25M). The ceremony, held on Wednesday night in Bristol is now in its 21st year

Our mission is to provide individuals, businesses and communities with simple and effective solutions to Climate Change and more widely to protect the future of the world’s environment. 

In a world where new “green” solutions are complex and difficult to understand, the Good Energy Group companies try to make a difference by communicating simply and involving individuals in their choice of the source of their energy.  The Group’s companies are involved only in renewable or sustainable energy, sourcing and investing in technologies such as solar, wind and biomass. It also looks to invest in other small businesses that fit the aims and the mission of the Good Energy Group of companies.  

The business that formed the foundation of Good Energy Group today has been investing in the UK renewable and sustainable energy markets for nearly 10 years, and will celebrate its anniversary this Year.  During that time the market has changed significantly and its companies have grown up, developing stronger market presences and improving their operational experience.  Good Energy Group is now looking to invest more widely in this market, building on the passion and commitment from its employees, its customers and its generators.
